Established in 2009 Carhire Hebrides is a family run business set up by John and Alison Cunningham.
Having run a successful 5* guest house for several years, they wanted to create a car hire business with the same ethos and principles of high quality and memorable service to customers.
Beginning with 6 cars the business proved to be successful with all the cars purchased new.
Seven years later and the car hire now operates with over 100 vehicles ranging from compact cars to vans and 4x4s.
All the vehicles are bought new and remain with the company for a maximum of 3 years before being replaced.

Developed in 2013, Van Hire Hebrides is the spin-off company from Car Hire Hebrides offering customers even more choice when it comes to vehicle hire.
Van Hire Hebrides is based at Stornoway Ferry Terminal.
Our town centre location provides a convenient and efficient pick-up and drop-off service for all our customers.
All our vans are purchased new from the manufacturer and we guarantee customers that the Vans they hire from us will be in first class condition.

Having been the sole car hire provider at Stornoway Airport since 2011, Car Hire Hebrides are now well established and experienced in providing exceptional service to Stornoway Airport's passengers.
Our friendly staff will meet you at our rental desk, which is located inside the airport terminal beside the exit.
We're present for every single incoming flight, ensuring excellent one to one customer service every time.
All of our cars are conveniently located in our dedicated car parking spaces near the terminal building.

Opened in Spring 2017, this branch not only services ferry passengers arriving from Ullapool on the MV Loch Seaforth, but has also proven to be very convenient for anyone who wants to pick up their car or van in Stornoway.
Our office is based inside the unique Stornoway Ferry Terminal building, with our exclusive car park nearby.
It's only a couple of minutes' walk from the town centre, Marina, Bus Station and local hotels such as the Caladh, Caberfeidh, and Royal.

With so many breath-taking landscapes and beaches to explore, the best way to make the most of your time on Harris is to travel between all of these wonderful sights by car.
Our pickup location is beside the Essence of Harris shop in the heart of Tarbert, which is very close to the Ferry Terminal, the new Marina, and the local hotels - Hotel Hebrides and Harris Hotel.
For this site there's an additional 50 + VAT fee on top of the normal rental charge, which helps to cover the higher operating costs at this location.
